The church and its stained glass windows witnesses to the village's history

Here you are on the village’s grassy square, in front of the Eglise Saint-Landelin.

This church, with its rich past, has risen from the ashes several times: it was burnt down under the reign of Charles V, rebuilt several times between the 16th and 17th centuries, and became a refuge during the 1st World War for over 50 survivors of shootings.

Some of the stained glass windows, recently redone by Valenciennes artist Marie Payen, bear witness to the village’s history. A total of 11 stained glass windows will embellish the church.

Don’t hesitate to push open the church door to admire these brightly-colored witnesses to history.

A feast for the eyes and taste buds

Fill up on local produce!

Here’s a route that’s all about the locavore spirit and seasonality!

There are plenty of opportunities to take home local produce along the way!

Take what you need before your walk to enjoy on the way or as a picnic on the shady grass of the village square, or sublimate the products by cooking them at home – the choice is yours!

La ferme des 4 cantons, la pâtisserie Nanan and la brasserie Terre et Traditions offer a wide range of sweet and savoury treats.

Stop by the brewery for a “L’enfer” beer (sound familiar?). Its square glass, in reference to the cobblestones, will release all the aromas of this characterful blonde!
