Daniel is a married man longing for a bit of freedom. To take a break without feeling guilty, he invents an imaginary friend, Charlie, whom he pretends to visit regularly. But when his wife insists on meeting this Charlie, Daniel is caught in his own trap. He hires a clueless, unpredictable and overly comfortable stranger to play the role. But Charlie quickly seizes on the lie? until it turns everything upside down.
