Two days of celebration, togetherness, and culture! Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, 2026 Place d'Armes, Valenciennes Free admission Dance to the rhythms of the Caribbean right in the heart of Valenciennes! For one weekend, the Place d’Armes will be transformed, taking on the colors of the Dominican Republic and Latin America. The Tourist Office invites you on a unique, festive journey for the senses, where the warmth of the tropics takes over the cobblestone streets of Valenciennes. On the agenda for these two exceptional days: rhythm, dance, smiles, and a wonderful sense of community to share with family or friends! Let yourself be swept away by the infectious energy of the dancers in traditional costumes, try your hand at Latin dances at the foot of City Hall, and enjoy a sunny musical atmosphere all weekend long. Come and recharge with positive energy, exotic flavors, and cultural discoveries at this must-see event at the start of summer! Free event open to the general public. Food and refreshments available on site.
