Description
EXHIBITION: ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF ART DECO
Ready for a trip back in time? Escape for a visit to the heart of the Roaring Twenties! In 1925, Paris vibrated to the rhythm of the Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et modernes. The high point of a unique style, the event became the global showcase for a "new spirit" in which fashion, architecture, jewelry and perfume were reinvented.
As France recovered from four years of war, this wind of modernity blew far beyond Parisian borders to rebuild our region.
Through a superb series of panels, this traveling exhibition invites you to look up and rediscover our regional heritage:
The footprint of giants : The achievements of the great names who shaped Art Deco.
Our local treasures: The secrets of emblematic buildings designed close to home in the Hauts-de-France region.
History in the making: Behind the scenes and highlights of the seminal year 1925.
From July 7 to 29, 2026
at Condé-sur-l'Escaut Town Hall

The fruit of a passionate collaboration between the partners of Printemps de l'Art Déco, this exhibition travels through the entire region in 2025 and 2026.
