Due to the extreme heat, the Jesuit Library will remain closed all week; therefore, there will be no guided tour this Saturday.
The media center will be partially open only tomorrow, Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. as well.
This is one of the must-see places during your visit to Valenciennes.
You’re guaranteed to be amazed by the painted murals in this authentic 18th-century Jesuit library! This heritage site is accessible to all, as you can explore it on your own or take part in free guided tours on Saturdays.
Self-guided tours: Access available upon request on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Free guided tours: Guided tours take place only on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. The room remains accessible upon request during the media library’s opening hours.
