Antichambre is two things in one: a show and an animated film. Combining animation, stop motion, shadow and object theater, painting and live music, this show is a continuation of the work of this duo of visual artists and musicians, who already amazed us with Dark Circus, a few years ago at Le Boulon.
Antichambre plunges us into the process of creating a film live from a musical and graphic worktable on stage. What path do ideas take, how are images created on stage, how do they get from stage to screen? The film being made before our very eyes speaks to our ability to reconnect with our senses and express our emotions.
A poetic nugget, full of sensitivity and gentleness. Everything we discover happens there, in the present, as if in a daydream.
