Golf de Valenciennes

Covering an area of 15 hectares, this technical 9-hole course is gently undulating and wooded. It is a recognized Par 65 of 4737 m, approved as an 18-hole course by the French Golf Federation. This is a 9-hole course (9 greens on the course), but the tee marks change several times between the outward 9 holes and the return 9 holes. In this way, a par 3 on the outward leg becomes a par 4 on the return leg. The succession of holes (long par 4 of 400m, short par 3 surrounded by bunkers, par 4 of 280m, etc.) avoids any monotony, and the golfer takes real pleasure in practising in a friendly game, or performing in competition, over 9 or 18 holes. The fairways are fairly narrow and the greens medium-sized. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced players alike. Golfers can really enjoy the peace and quiet of this natural setting, just a few minutes from Valenciennes town center.
