Built at the end of the 19th century, this small "château d?industrie" was part of the landholding of the Compagnie des Mines d?Anzin (founded in 1757). It is the only surviving example of a series of opulent mansions built in Anzin to house mining supervisory staff. It illustrates the diversity and richness of the built heritage inherited from the mining era.
Access to the château is via an imposing avenue of lime trees. The château's facades feature Renaissance elements (columns, pediments) mixed with Mannerist elements (cartouches). On the main façade, a cartouche depicts miners' tools (hammer, lamp, rivelaines). The château stands at the center of a large wooded park, which underwent complete restoration in 2016.
