The Cercle de Voile de Valenciennes was founded in 1964 by a few sailing enthusiasts who wanted to create an association. Over the years, it has become a well-known club in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, with recognized sporting results.
The Cercle de Voile de Valenciennes is a dynamic club with 200 members and welcomes over 10,000 trainees throughout the year.
The club is located on the 54-hectare Etang du Vignoble, which faces the prevailing winds. It offers a varied fleet of sailboats, as well as canoes and paddles.
The lake also regularly hosts regattas on light or radio-controlled sailboats, as part of the French Sailing Federation?s league championship calendar. These competitions are open to the public. Open mid-March to mid-November, Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:30pm.
Sundays and public holidays by prior arrangement
At the CVV, Fridays are all about girls.
Every Friday from 6.30pm to 8pm (from June 6, 2025), we reserve a 100% feminine slot for you to enjoy water sports activities in a relaxed, friendly and fun atmosphere!
Here, we're offering you one activity per Friday - it's going to be great!
